Where can I get metal plumbing parts for my clawfoot tub re-surfaced at a reasonable price?
Hello. I want the hardware for have my clawfoot tub refinished. Need the handles, drains, pipes etc. re-plated with chrome or brass. Viewed in the net and was very expensive, professionally from a company that specializes in the area have done (over 1K) ug … have a budget to work in. All the ideas or thoughts for replating? Thanks for the input.
Chrome is a bit expensive, but finding someone that chrome for motorcycles and old cars. Likewise, it may be cheaper to buy new parts. Check out Restorers Supply and Van Dyke's Restorers. Check out Lowe's and Home Depot. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy, renovate as new and it brings you the code on the use consumption of water and so on. Less chance of leakage down the street and spare parts.
